I Pulled the trigger!

I finally won an auction on gunbroker!

I was the lucky bidder on a sweet Dan Wesson!

I was on the fence for quite a while couldn't decide on whether to take the plunge into the 1911 world or not. I was really interested in the Kimbers but after reading all the mixed reviews about them I decided to look elsewhere. The polymer framed are just too, I dunno, polymerized? Then I came across the DW CBOB... ...I don't think I've seen one bad review.

Anyway, It better live up to the hype Because I'm stoked and can't wait for it to arrive!

I too have only heard great things about Dan Wesson's.

Congratulations on your new purchase.

Ed, that is an incredible gun! I have always loved the Commander length 1911's.

And what a steal. Looks like you got an excellent price on that pistol! Probably saved a good $400 off of new retail price!

I've been toying with the idea of getting a Dan Wesson CCO which is the Commander length slide on a Officers model frame.

Excellent catch!

Beautiful! I have been fondling one of those pistols at my local shop. I am quite envious.

I love it. I've been looking at this gun for a while. Just cant put up the cash.

Even selling both of my guns may not cover it...

I always said I would never by a 1911. I'm a Glock kind of guy, but lately I've been rethinking that. I love the CCO. That would be my first choice for the $$ or a Les Baer TRS Comanche if I could afford the difference. Good luck!

Very nice.

I had the same one in 10mm. Very nice 1911 indeed. Wish I would have never sold it but I needed the cash at the time. Checkout some Larry Davidson Horned Lizard grips. They look great on the CBOB.
