Hey guys, I just wanted to show you all my new weapon. I had been in the market for a compact 1911 for sometime now and when I went to my local gun shop and held this one, I knew it was the one. Haven't been to the range yet, but I can't wait to get some rounds through it.

Now all I need to do is find a good holster. Anybody know if having the rail on the gun wil make it not fit standard commander holsters?

A well boned holster will not fit your gun if it is not made for a rail specifically. I would make sure it is listed for a rail gun. Very nice looking weapon. I think the Springfields are some of the best off the rack 1911 out there.

I have a Nick Matthews IWB for my Champ Operator and it is superb. I think I'll be getting an OWB for it soon. It is molded to the gun specifically and fits great!
