Kahr trigger vs kahr elite trigger

question for anyone who may know. The kahr regular series pistols have a basic trigger, connector etc in them. They have the Kahr Elite which has the same "cam" design as the regular pistols the only difference is the "elite trigger" "elite spacer" and "elite connector" so my question is this, can you buy the elite series parts and put them into the cw9 or other regular model kahrs

I think that sometime in 2001 was when Kahr started using the Elite trigger in all theri handguns, with the exception of the New York model (2005?)

If the gun is "pre-Elite trigger" model, it may be possible to buy an upgrade trigger kit. Check the Kahr website.

Laser engraving on the slide, a polished stainless trigger, a polished feed ramp for reliability, a beveled mag well and night sights...

All the new Kahrs have the elite trigger, as for the rest of the question, what TX-JB said.

Good morning Sir,

All our pistol, with the exception of the K series, have the "Elite Trigger" as a standard feature.

Thank you

The trigger is one of the reasons I waited and got the MK9 2003 Elite ... Oh well, should have researched a little. Still lovin' those sites and the shiny bevel-ness of the whole thing though.

Well you heard it. Elite trigger is standard on all Kahr models EXCEPT the K9 with NYPD specs. Costs $150 with Kahr to convert a NYPD K9 or older gun if you want to. No difference in pull weight, only a difference of 1/8" of trigger pull lenght.

Does 1/8" make that much difference? In my opinion it does.

Also, I've researched this a bit and it's commonly reported to be difficult to get out the main pin that holds the trigger to switch parts and some report having scratched their guns in the process.

Also, Cylinder & Slide is working on a way to reliably/safely reduce the travel on the current Kahr trigger. They haven't perfected it yet but hope to be able to offer that soon. I got this from them when talking to them about some custom work for my K9. No idea of when they'll get this. IMHO if you make it much shorter it's going to be almost too short.
