Micro Desert Eagle Question

As is well known various handguns may be functionally disabled by a trained unarmed opponent at close range. Close quarter examples include dropping the magazine on pistols equipped with a magazine disconnect safety, griping the cylinder/hammer of a revolver to prevent SA/DA operation and striking the muzzle of a 1911 (and variants) to knock the pistol out of battery. Obviously these are efforts of last resort under extreme circumstances and should not be attempted by untrained personnel etc etc etc (Please note that I am not trying to start a discussion on the relative merits of these options).

In the above context, my question is the following: Is it possible to disable the micro desert eagle by gripping/compressing to the frame the pistol trigger/hammer bar connector that is exposed and on the side of the pistol to either prevent DA operation or make it more difficult for the shooter to pull the pistol's DA trigger?

Thanks and best regards.

Probably yes. A quick cure would be a swift kick to the perpetrators shin or up higher.

A better cure would be to pull the trigger as many times as you can BEFORE someone gets close enough to interfere with your trigger bar. JMHO.
