Face it...anything that will penetrate to the vitals on a human will also go through flimsy sheetrock walls. Heck, you can punch through sheetrock with your fist.

#4 buck should be the minimum, #1 is the best blend of pellet count and penetration. 00 is good too, and easier to find than #1 buck.
