XD40 Service Holster Help

I am wanting to carry my XD40 Service Concealed. As i live in Indiana, I believe we can open carry, but, I really dont see an upside in doing that.

I have been looking at IWB holsters, and bought a cheapy Uncle Mike's IWB that I used until I went to a local GunShow and got a generic holster to use, until I can get something better.

I'm not adverse to OWB or Shoulder carry, but I do believe the OWB would be hardest for me to hide.

Links are appreciated

Thank You

Im in the same boat and will let ya know if i find anything...until then, im just gonna mooch off of your thread .

I'ld bet someone has a XD service with an effective CCW rig, and would share their findings.....right?

Hey guys; I am trying to conceal the XDsc9 and having trouble getting it just right. I am new to conceal carry and know nothing on the subject. Gave Gary Brommeland (who is on this site and makes holster) a call today and had a long talk with him. He gave me lots of information on the whole subject of carrying. Ended the call knowing a lot more than I did when we start talking. My advice is to get with one of the holster makers here on the site, there are more than Gary here, but use their knowledge from the start, before spending money on things you don't need and that will not work for you.

I am getting one of his set-ups (not because of pressure sales) but because he told me we could and would make it work. He is one of those people who only after talking to just a very short time you instantly like. For me talking to someone is faster knowledge than doing it here on the web. My 2 cents

Thanks Gary enjoyed our conversation this morning!

Crossbreed supertuck. Half the price of the Tucker Answer. I carry an XD service model in it and it's very comfortable and well made.

These seem to be in the highest running as far as I can tell, for the XD40 Service.

I can give you some help on a wonderful OWB holster.
I use a Desantis Speed Scabbard....no printing with just a t-shirt, I love it and it is comfortable, I wear mine 5-10 hours a day.
