Attire = slacks & tucked shirt. How to carry?

My daily work attire is slacks and a tucked in shirt.

What are the carry options?

- Ankle

Ankle carry is one or you can get a tuckable IWB like a Sparks VMII. Personally, I don't like the tuckable feature but do a search on it and I'm sure you will find some options.

These are both tuckable holsters, there are a couple of others as well.

look into smartcarry.com. I have a large and it fits anything from a glock 23 to a 5 inch 1911. Very comfortable, you can rotate it around to 2 to 3 o'clock position for even more comfort.

I use a Galco Sky-Ops, proper placement with a little judicious blousing at the belt line and 2 off duty cops had trouble finding it after being told I was carrying a Para-Ordnance P-14 (14 round .45)

The biggest problem with the Sky-Ops is there is nothing between you and the back of the frame/slide and the 1911 style safety tends to dig. Would probably be OK with a Glock, my next IWB will be from Tucker.

I wear the same... my everyday is a P3AT in a nemisis pocket holster. I have a smartcarry that works very well for larger guns, but for me, it's too uncomfortable for all day, everyday use. Then again, I'm a fatman... it may be fine for you.

I guess no more tailor cut shirts...

How many extra sizes do you have to wear to blouse over the gun? It seems in most of these examples that 50% of the gun extends over the hook point. Your shirt would have to be pretty loose to cover that up, right?

Ah, so the shirt tucks OVER the gun, it doesn't just FOLD loosely over it.

Layers go: pants, shirt, gun?

I thought it was pants, gun, shirt tucked loosely and bloused over the gun, which if you stretched or lifted up on the loose shirt would be very visible.

Actually, I don't get it. I'm looking at the IWB models in the link you provided. They have loops which go over the top of your pants to the belt.

How do you tuck in a shirt when there is no space to tuck below the belt line?

I saw another IWB model that had a plastic hook with was sort of a sideways "S" where the base of one curve of the S connected to the holster way down low, so I guess you could shove your shirt down into that groove over the gun.

I don't know, I could draw if for you but I can't explain it.
