Picture worth 1000 words...when you look at the edge thickness and finish of the belt, you quickly see the difference in a BELT and a GUN belt.

I agree with Eric,
Nice belt. Wasn't me. Any hints? Someone from this forum?

I just got this from Desbiens Custom Gunleather for daily carry of my Caspian 1911 .45acp Gov't... All I can say is WOW! Great quality work with attention to details (initials embossed into my belt, and the straps on the holster). I love the Dark Cherry color/finish. Today is the first day to wear it and already comfortable as can be...to the point, I almost forgot in the first 2 hours of wearing it that I was packing heat!
Belt and holster tucks the 1911 in real tight, yet moves as and when needed. Nice tight fit, and a 48hr stay in the holster wrapped in 2 wax sheets = great retention, quick draw, no snags.BTW, top notch customer service and a pleasure to work with in developing this rig as per my intended use. Shipped out the holster ahead of the belt and mag carrier...it had wide lizard print snap belt loops, but when the belt and the mag carrier arrived, he had included a pair of slim, plain snap belt loops...no charge! On top of earlier than expected delivery (I thought it would be another 2 weeks or so), he shipped everything out to me w/o even mentioning payment or anything of the sorts! I kinda feel sheepish sending him the $$$ AFTER I already have it all in my hands! SpecWar 1911 full size IWB Holster 1.25" Gun Belt w/ antique buckle (thanx Rhome ;) ) Mag Carrier Anyways, enjoy...and Rhome ----> you are the MAN! ![]() Last edited by TireFryer; August 11th, 2006 at 10:20 AM.. |

I agree, Rhome does top notch work with awesome customer service! He made a black IWB for my 229 and a black belt and also sent it out quickly before payment was received. Everyone should consider Rhome when looking at getting a new rig.
