Smart Carry and bio issues...

Ok, serious question here. No endowment jokes, please.

How do you use the urinal while wearing a Smart Carry?

well, I don't. I don't use a urinal when I am carrying at all. I just go into a stall. it just makes it easier no matter how I am carrying. Just one of those things I had to modify when I chose to carry daily.

You just kind of push the Smart Carry to one side and procede as normal. Does take some practice to do it confidently.

+1 ...shove it to the side and procede...

If there are dividers between the urinals, I'm fine with that. If it's an open wall with multiple urinals, I'll wait on a stall.

Charlie Parrot I think on his site - http://www.smartcarry.com/ does refer to his recommended method - and it is referred to in literature that comes with the rig.

Indeed IIRC it is a move to the side and something that with practice is not too bad. My Smart Carry sees very little use at all - but having it is so I can if a situation requires - have that option.

I have one for early morning or late night walks, under shorts or sweats. That's about the only time I use it, but it works great for that.

I always try to use a urinal with dividers or stall. What I do is to slide/rotate smartcarry holster and pants to left as I'm standing in front of urinal Then rotate pants back to forward position. Unzip.....
When finished, I unbuckle my pants and slide smartcarry back to front, re-adjust my shirt and then zip up. (Even with dividers between urinals no one can see what I'm doing).

It takes some practice.

I read another thread yesterday that said one should always use a stall when carrying. Like snowdoctor said, it's easier, and it just makes sense to me. Men are pretty vulnerable standing at a urinal. If your CCW prints it would be pretty easy for a BG to take it.

Thanks for the insight, guys. I don't have a SC (yet) and was curious as to how this worked.
