Concealed Carry Outfitters "Holster Vest"

Does anybody have any experience with the Holster Vest sold online by ConcealedCarryOutfitters.com They are kind of expensive but look pretty nice. I wouldnt mind paying the cash for a nice carry vest but would like to hear some feedback first. Thanks

AS soon as cool weather hits I wear a vest for cover. I have seveal types. Never used that particular one. The one common thing about vest is, if you use them as the the holster you must carry counter weight to keep it from pulling down on one side. My mother is a very accomplished seamstriss & she made me one that was not supposed to pull on the gun side. As long as it was one of the supper lights & small all was OK. From 20 oz. up it was always pulling just like the comercial ones..

Hmmmm...never thought about that!!!! Definately something to consider I guess.

My solution; carry equally weighted guns on each side (Glock 23 and 30, 2 1911s). O.K. you have to sit down and rest every 20 yards, but you have firepower! Haven't tried this vest, but the 5.11 weighs down the same way...

I have one it is great. The only issue is you must have some of the front snaps snapped or the safety strap in place if the front is unsnapped or the pistol will fall out when you bend over to pick something off the ground/floor.
I have not noticed any serious weight distribution problems even with a full sized 1911.

Swiftyjuan, that's what I was thinking. Two GLOCK 27s would be cool -- since the 5.11 vest has ambidextrous pockets, right? The offer in the ad in NRA's magazine says you get a free holster and magazine pouch with each vest purchase, so I guess one would have to order another one separately. (They're not super expensive: the ad says that the holster/pouch combo is a $23.90 value.)

If you don't mind people coming up to in Home depot and asking where the hammers are, I guess one of those concealed carry vests could do the trick.

While the design intrigues me, I find them to be very overpriced.
