Paddle Holster from K&D Holster for Glock 27

I received my new paddle holster from Kevin a couple of days ago and thought I would share the pictures. Thanks to P95 on the recommendation on the photo resizer. I love the holster but haven't had a chance to wear it to Wal-Mart yet. :) The belt is a custom from Rafter S Gunleather.

Edit: See post below for pictures.

Yes, it is a nice holster. I am having to use wax paper around the pistol to stretch the holster a bit before using but it should be fine by tomorrow. I used one thickness of paper for 24 hours and had to double the thickness as it was still tight. Sorry you can't open the files. Is anyone else having this problem? I used Irfanview to view the jpeg's, resize, and saved them to default. They turned out to be .bmp's I really need to register at free site to host the files.

Dewayne - I see the pics and yes, that is great rig. Glad you managed to post them.

They are tho indeed BMP's and also smaller than you need go.

Try them again with Irfanview but be careful to select the right settings.

With size, select a pre-set for convenience, like 640x480. Then when you save the resized file ensure you have JPG set up for the save - at a moderate % quality setting then check to see what you finish up with.

In XP Pro I find if I hover mouse cursor over filename in windows explorer I get a flyout giving dimensions and size - an easy check. I would look for the size of 640x480 and filesize of about 50-100k region.

Keep playing with the app - once you get familiar it'll be easier. Oh and yeah - set up with photobucket, imageshack - one of those freeby hosts for pics.

Thanks Chris for the help. I will try one more time to post a better picture. Sorry, but I am a newbie at posting pics as you all can see.

Dewayne, as long as the old pictures were the only ones posted I could just about control myself. Now that I have see the new ones. I am dying here. It's all I can do to not wait outside for the postman and attack him if my Cochise Defender and paddle holsters from Kevin are not here yet. Seriously, nice leather and I can hardly wait for mine. If they were here yesterday it wouldn't be soon enough.

Enjoy that great leather and think of me down here suffering.

By the way, I think that you and Chris are doing a good job on your pictures. When you got them over to jpg they are very good.

Patience, George, Patience!!!!!

Your order was not far behind mine as we discussed in PM's....It will be here soon. I ordered mine approximately April 20 and with Kevin moving the shop, it slowed things considerably.

Not a surprise to see Kevin has another fan!

I wanted to get away from paddle holsters, but I wasn't ready to give up the ease they provide for removing the holster from the belt, without partially undressing. That's why I went with the Laredo Defender for my G23.

Getting a gun belt from K&D, along with a mag carrier, both dyed to match the holster, made my rig complete. The only real issue I have is that no one gets to see it!
