Sig P228???? Guinea Pig????

I need a guinea pig that owns a Sig P228 and wants a holster.

I purchased one of these so called "1:1" airsoft guns that is supposed to be exactly like the real thing. Now, I'm making a holster to check and see if it's true. Comparing to pictures, it's dead on.

Anyway, who wants a holster??? WAY CHEAP!!!

It'll be similar to this...

Dancing Bananas!?!?!

Thumbs up

Neat Offer for somebody with a 228.
Very generous of you jarhead.

Do I understand correctly that somebody can pick up a jarhead 228 holster for a modest price & their only obligation being to report back to you as to the fit to their actual firearm?
Can't beat that deal with a stick!

I'd be a good guinea pig but - that style if I am not mistaken is IWB. I only use OWB these days exclusively.

Wish I could try that but almost know I'd not get on as well as my OWB.

Jarhead! If I'd only known when I was at the gunstores today, I would have bought a 228! I think that is a legitimate reason ...

My SIG 229 airsoft is slightly different than the real thing in some dimension or other...

It also won't take Houge grips designed for the real 229.

Grip size isn't an issue as far as holslter making goes. As long as the slide/trigger guard match, we're good. With a $7 gun, I'm not losing out. I can always use it as an airsoft gun!!!

I have found my airdoft is really close to my real HK . A bit thinner , but hardly. It fits in a fobus holster as well as the real gun.
Airsoft might be a better way to go instead of Ring's blue guns for making holsters.

Ive learned over the years...some airsofts work very well and some suck. Take a set of calipers with you and measure the guns against a real one. Thats the only real way to tell.

Shoot well and god bless
