Who Makes Leather for S&W 1066?

When I purchased my Smith & Wesson 1066 I posted a thread in the General Firearms forum saying: "This is NOT a Concealed Carry Gun." And for me it could never be a regularly carried pistol. But I do want a nice leather holster for it. I haven't decided whether I want IWB or OWB. But so far from looking at the lists on sites that have them no one lists the S&W 1066 as a pistol they make a holster. So, here is the question - Do any of you fine leather artists here on Combat Carry make a holster for the S&W model 1066?

Please let me know since I am ready to order one. I'll just have to make a decision about IWB or OWB.

...yes it would....the 4566 and the 1066 are dimensionally identical, except that the 1066 is in the oh-so-much-more-manly 10 Mike Mike.

George.....I'm all of 5'6" and 165 Lbs...and I can conceal my 1006 and 1066 in a Ted Blocker LFI IWB holster under an untucked shirt with no problems.

Thanks, for the info. I know I can conceal it, I just don't think I want to carry it all the time. It's good to know that the 4566 and 1066 use the same leather. I want to support our makers here and hope that one of them makes a holster for it. Our makers add so much to the board, so if possible I'll buy from them. Well, it may have a little something to do with the fact that they make the best holsters in the business. If none of them make one I may have to extend the search to other areas.

Yeah, they are kind of heavy to port all day long....good thing about them is that they are relatively thin....well, at least the stocks are.

1066

I've got two holsters for my 1066, one is a Dillon Master pancake for the 4566 and the other is a Sparks VM-II for the 1066. The Sparks holster is more comfortable and more concealable by far of the two. Any of the holster makers on this board should be able to fit this gun, as the 4566 is or was pretty popular.

Thanks. I intend to call several later this week to see which one can make me a nice holster.
