New Tucker HF1 for Ultra CDP II !

Coming back from East Texas last weekend I happened to stop at Shooter's Station in Conroe, and lo and behold, a big stock of holsters from Tucker Gunleather. Even better, an HF1 for a 3" 1911 in black cherry, cross-cut full stamp, with Texas concho! A perfect match for the gear I have on order. I could not pass it by.

I've just been wearing it for a couple of days, but already I find that it's extremely comfortable, quite accessible and totally concealable, even with just an untucked polo. It holds the weapon at just the right cant, very tight to the body.

As you'll see from the pics, the workmanship is outstanding, with great attention to detail. When the rest of my rig shows up (gun belt, mag pouch and HF1 for the Desert Warrior), it'll just be a matter of deciding which weapon to carry today. But I've just gotta get me a pair of matching boots . . .

WOW, that's like Texas Walker Ranger stuff! Look's great. How does the two piece holster work out for you so far. That thing is super sharp!

It feels great. The attached flap helps hold the weapon in tight so there's not much chance of printing. I've been struggling to get comfortable with IWB carrying, but this one may have made me an OWB convert (at least with my present girth). Very quick on the draw, and easy as can be one-handed holstering. Seems almost a shame to conceal it!

WOW..Awesome RIG!!! My wife and I are driving from Scottsdale AZ, to Houston this Saturday. We are actually looking to buy a house and move. My wifes job! I'm really excited about it. I never thought I would be a Texan.

Anyway, I need to check out that site, as I love the look of that holster. I have a the same gun as you, but in 4". I'll look at the website later and have to make a stop there.

I wonder if it would look as cool if the little badge had the state of KS on it instead of TX.

Great looking holster. I really like that flap over the top style of construction - don't know why but it just seems extra sturdy and rugged as all get out. I'd probably opt for black or dark brown myself but that black cherry definitely sings.
