"leather" Ctac?
Hey Ya'll (I think I should stop saying Hey Guys...I don't think having Betty mad at me is a good thing. hehe)
I hear alot of praise being passed around about the Comp-Tac CTAC. My only question is is there a comparable rig out there in leather? I like the idea of being able to play around with the cant in order to improve ease of release and adjusting for possible "printing" issues. I also have been told by a friend that I work with theat if two products do the same thing and one is leather and one is plastic to go leather. Please understand, I have been out of the game for a bit. Additionally I really don't want to end up with a "drawer full of leather" if you know what I mean. BTW it will be holding a XD40 service. Thanks in advance MikeV |

The Tucker Texas Heritage is pretty close, even uses Comp-Tac belt clips. I like mine, very comfortable. It's for a Glock 22.

I like Mark Garritys Changling. Doesn't look like the CTAC, but does the exact same thing and looks better IMO.

Try J.J. Herold. According to the site, he doesn't offer standard belt clips; only J-clips and C-clips. One model carries a magazine, too.
