Holster review with photos
I wanted to show off my new holster, and give a review on it. The rig was made by John Railston at 5 Shot Leather http://www.5shotleather.com .
I ask him to make his Uncle Lou holster in a tuckable model, which he had never done before. The rig is made from burgundy shark skin, and the photos do not do it justice, it came out like a work of art. The boning is superb; and the retention of the weapon is great. I have had the rig now for 2 weeks and while it was comfortable from the start, each day it gets better as the wings of the holster and mag carrier form to my body. The holster and mag carrier were flat when they arrived so it took a few days to start breaking it in to my shape. John has customer service high on his priority list; he kept me informed on the progress of the rig at least once a week and sometimes daily. He always replied to my questions within one day, and was great to talk to on the phone. For anyone wanting a truly custom holster, I highly recommend talking to John; you will not be disappointed in either his work or his manners. Now to the photos. The thumbnails are clickable. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Unless you are camera shy, can you post some pix of it on?
