Kahr PM9 --> Glock 26/27

Hello all,

I'm thinking about getting rid of my Kahr PM9, and getting into a Glock 26 or 27. Are they good for pocket carry? Now I know the first thing many of you will say is: they are a bit thick, but I guess what I mainly want to know is: is there anyone here that successfully pocket carries with one of these, and if so what holster do you cary with, and how comfortable is it. Any trouble with printing and does it bother you to have that much weight in your pocket.

Thanks in advance for you help!!!

The 26 that I recently sold was way too thick for pocket carry. It felt like a brick and really weighed down my pants. Plus I find my PM40 sticks a little bit on the draw and I would imagine the baby Glocks are even harder to draw.

But if you are a big guy and wear pants with big pockets I guess it could be done well enough.

My buddy carry's a baby Glock .40 (not sure of the number) in his front pocket but wearing 5.11's. I still don't see how he does it, I can't do it. Kahr maybe, but R9s! I'll let you know in a few day's.

I have been BUGless for this very reason until now. The R9s sould fit the pocket well.

I'm a "little" guy.....5'8", 150 pounds. I pocket carry a Glock 26 in a custom made pocket rig. I carry it in Kohl's Croft & Barrow Cargo Shorts, 5.11's, some Kahki's (cargoes), dress slacks and suit pants.

I've not been made before.

Yep, the weight is "stiff" so to speak. Good belt helps. Draw is not "light'ning" fast, but I'm new to this, so guess what....it wouldn't be anyway.....

It's a great solution for HTH Texas summers and my dress.

I got rid of a pm9 in favor of the Glock 26. I thought both were too much for pocket carry. The 26 is more accurate, has more firepower, has less felt recoil, and is more reliable and better quality. My pm9 showed significant wear after 500 rounds and had slide problems. You could pocket carry with the G26, but I don't think you will be happy with it.

I pocket carry a Kahr MK9, heavier than but same size as PM9. The MK9 is carried in a HighNoon pocket holster. Carries well, I like the all steel guns.

Same here! The largest I can manage in my pocket is a Guardian .380.

Pocket Carry

I personally pocket carry either a Kel-tec p-32 or an S&W 642. both in Desantis Nemisis holsters. I own both a Kahr PM-40 and Glock 26, and have tried to pocket carry both, but just can't do it. Both too heavy and bulky. I have IWB's for both mini autos, by Sparks and C-tac respectively. I have a buddy that swears he can pocket carry his G-19 as easily as his G-26. There's no way I could do it, but it all comes down to personal comfort.

I carry my Glock 26 in a Desantis pocket holster almost every day. I good belt is a +. I have a few pants that the pockets are too small, and when I wear them I carry my 3AT. Soon all of my pants will fit the Glock 26. I'm very comfortable with it.
