great holster maker..MCV for XD

I recently done some trading and wound up bringing home a new 4 inch XD tactical last weekend. I put 200 rounds through it Tuesday and really like it. Not going to replace my Kimber Ultra Carry, but a good option. Two things were a necessity if I am going to carry it at all.
1. night sites
2. high quality holster.
Well that is where Gary and Remy Brommeland came in. Of course,I got on Combat Carry and starting fishing for reviews of the XD. browsed around and found Gary had some Truglo TFO for the XD for sale. #1 accomplished. then called and ordered a MCV from him. I already carry the Ultra Carry in one, so why not? I love the MCV concealability, but now I am carrying a slightly bigger firearm. Gary and Remy spent alot of time with me, and had a great chat on the phone. What great people to talk with and to do business with. I also have one of Gary's belts and mag pouches.
I urge anyone who is look for a quality holster or accessories to contact the Brommeland's and talk to them. They are friendly, knowledgable and able to answer your questions with experience and honesty. And now after ordering my second MCV, they are doctor recommended...
Thanks for another great experience. Can't wait to get the sights, and the holster.

Probably just semantics but, I understand that the 4" is the service model and the 5" is the tactical.

Congrats on the XD. I have the 9mm ported and so far so good. Real out-of-the-box shooter.

Yes. The wait is worth it I am told, but that doesn't make it easier! I found both Gary and Remy a joy to work with and talk to. But sucking up to them (LOL) won't help me get the Def-Cons for my Glocks, my belt, or mag carrier any faster. I've tried bribery, whinning, threats, and ignoring them, but nothing works to speed the process up. Darn it!

Guess I'll just be patient!

I'm waiting for my fifth holster from Gary (a Def-Con). I have holster's from other manufacturer's, and they are good, but Gary's work is hard to surpass. I have two Max Con V's and two Def-Con's right now and they are great rigs!!!

Correct, 4" service and 5" tactical. The XD's are great guns though, I used to have 2 of them.

Gary and Remy are great. I wouldn't trade my MCV for anything.

+1

Top notch holster from a topnotch company. Gary & Remy make one hell of a team and one hell of a holster as well.

Here is a sample of their Service Grade for the XD-45

thanks for the pics. I can't wait to try out my XD45 on my MCV. dream come true. 14 rounds tucked away, and comfortable. I don't think it will surpass my ultra carry in it's MCV, but time will tell. I am a 1911 lover, so changing would be hard.
I am not sucking up...I will wait my turn, i know the drill and have done it before....but I still love the product...my birthday is the 17th of november.....well I can hope can't I? This is my b-day gift from my wife.

I love the Max-Con V! Great holster, great maker, great people, I have two of them that I wear on or the other of every day.

I also have two Service grade Def-Con's on order that I just finished week 12 on so I think that Nov 17th is not looking good for you doc. If you get your's before I do I'm driving to Tennessee I am pretty sure I can take the old man with a bad back, it's the lady of the house I'm worried about!
