New IWB Holster at K&D Holsters
We've been developing, and now have ready to offer, a new IWB holster. It's similar to our Cochise Defender, and I took influence from some other popular makers in our ranks.
Some of the features are: - Thin; - Adjustable kydex clips for cant and depth of the holster/gun; - Tuckable; - Suede-lined backing for added comfort; - Extension of backside of holster to cover slide and hammer area (also gives as a push-off point when drawing the gun); - Tried to keep it simple. Here are some pics for your review: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The holster is named the "Dakota Defender," and is available for order. It's not yet been placed on our website, but you can contact me via pm or email or by phone if interested. The price is $65 + $5/shipping. Thanks for looking. ![]() Last edited by K-Man; October 29th, 2006 at 10:19 PM.. |

Nice Kevin. I like it. I do the front piece (non pancake) style for my own holsters, it's by far one of the most comfortable designs I've ever worn. I think it'll be a popular model for you.

Thanks, folks, for the kind words.
rmw, We can make it for the Springfield XD Service. Artz, It'll probably be a while before I attempt a shoulder holster. But I've got a couple of good samples to draw from, so maybe it won't be too long. ![]() |

sjones,
The turnaround time is running at 8-10 months. Just kidding. Currently we're at about 10-12 weeks. |

That is awesome Kevin! Great work. I bet my G27 would look pretty sweet in that holster!

Great looking holsters, Kevin. The suede lining looks very comfy! How well will it hold up to use and body sweat/dirt? I'm not familiar with suede. I'd also consider leather loops option.
Good stuff. ![]()

Does anyone make light brown kydex clips for use with brown belts?
I'm not Johny Cash, although I do wear a lot of black, just not ALL of the time... |
