Difference between tuckable and non-tuckable
What is the difference between a tuckable and a non-tuckable holster? I've been racking my brain as to how holster makers can design a holster where you can tuck in your shirt comfortably, but can't come up with anything. So all you master leather makers out there, please enlighten me.

Tuckables have a cutout in the holster that allows a shirt to be tucked between the belt/pants and the holster/weapon. This provides much deeper concealment.
Heres one of my tuckable designs. The arm the spring clip is on is only attached at the bottom of the holster and the shirt is tucked between it and the body of the holster...making the gun go away. ![]() A regular IWB can have belt loops/clips or whathaveyou and is attached directly to the holster...thus the shirt cannot be tucked down and around it. Hope that helps.......Shoot well and god bless

Think of it this way; The "non-tuckable" has the clip (the one that attaches to your belt) attached to the holster near the top of the leather pocket where you put your gun (i.e. no place between the clip and the gun to put your shirt tail) whereas the "tuckable" has the clip attached at the bottom of the holster on a separate piece of leather so you shirt tail can slide between the clip and your pistol.
