Question McDaniel II/ trigger guard

Greetings,
I am considering the McDaniel II from andrews custom leather, and was wondering what you guys thought about the trigger not being fully covered as shown in the pictures. Obviously safety in design would be considered by such an old and respected company, but the pictures do concern me. Any thoughts or experiences with this holster?

Thanks

Well, I have two McDaniel II's for a Commander and a Micro. My triggers are covered. Not by a lot but covered! It would also depend on the guns safeties. On a 1911 I have a grip and manual safety so I wouldn't worry much. Maybe different on a Glock.

Those website pictures are older as well. Call Sam, tell him what you want and you'll get it. He makes some fine gunleather.

A covered trigger guard is a misnomer....if you cant get to the trigger while the gun is holstered....then its covered Enough~!
Shoot well and god bless

It covers the trigger on all three of mine. You can't stick your finger in there anyway it's a IWB holster.
