Kydex and static ?
I've been carrying a kydex holster for my Sig 239 for a few weeks now, and I've been noticing a tremendous amount of lint building up. I don't know if it's just because the holsters is black, but I'm half wondering if working indoors and outdoors all the time is making my holster hold static and building up all of this lint?
Anyone experience this? I'm use to leather holstsers and I've never seen something like this.

When I worked in a commercial art studio we used this anti-static aerosol spray called Plexus.
It worked very well. I just checked for you Jamie and it's being sold on Ebay. |

Never experienced static or lint build up on my BH serpa , nor on my custom made rigs. What holster are you using?

Not something I'd noticed but - seeing as it's a plastic I guess possible if in contact with certain fabrics etc. I guess too a need for a very dry atmosphere.
Theoretically, I could see this as a possibility.

I think this problem a minor problem with the holster and more of a problem with the kind of clothing I'm wearing. Since it has gotten cold pretty quick this Fall, I have been wearing a sweat shirt that my wife just gave me. It does seem to be the cuprit.
I have a JSHolster IWB Kydex.
