This is something crazy, anyone tried it?

I saw this on eBay. Has anyone ever heard of this or used/seen one? It's kind of a trigger guard only holster and appears to be made of machined aluminum.

I also did some searches for it. It's different....

looks like a competition holster . Not suitable for CCW really.
1. no trigger guard coverage
2. retention may be an issue.
3. no protection for the gun from bangs, bumps ect.

Rocky is right - it's a pure competition "holster"; if we can call that thing a holster.

Well...its a competition based holster....much like the magnet rigs the full open class guys wear. Just shorter....
The place wear the trigger guard goes is magnetic and holds the gun in place...typically they have a dust cover/muzzle stop that limits how far the gun goes down and gives it more stability than this style.

Shoot well and god bless

It clamps over the trigger guard, like so:

This is a specialized holster for competition. IMHO, it would be useless for carry.
