The Galco is something I will prolly get eventually, but not for some time unless the parents come through. I do have an order in with mark at Crossbreed though, that should be showing up sometime in the next month.

I know I've said it before.
One of the nicest shoulder holsters is the Louis Alessi rig. The firearm is inserted in the holster and then the firearm is retained by a one way snap that is snapped down over the front of the trigger guard. There is no retention strap to unsnap as an added step before drawing the firearm. Simply tugging on the firearm automatically unsnaps the snap and the gun is then free to present to the intended target. It's a very clean & smooth holster operating system and very fast.

Well although I don't use my cheap nylon shoulder holster much since I bought the MCV from Brommeland, I do still use it on occassion and don't have any problems with it. sometimes just because something is cheap in price doesn't mean it isn't a good product. you can carry a single firearm and mag pouch or buy two holsters and have double firearms. it does have thumb breaks for the firearm, and I would like to know how exactly they are not safe? Maybe Phil could explain?
I got alot of use out of that 40 dollar setup, and don't have a problem using it more if the needs arrises. in fact my brother borrowed it and carries his 1911 in it everyday until he figures out what he wants to buy...

That is a hell of a nice rig and those 1911's are beautiful pistols, AnimalKracker. Did you get that rig here locally or online?

I have three shoulder rigs and I am here to tell you I do not care for them. I thought a shoulder rig would work for me while driving, I bought one, and I soon learned the handgun tends to move backward and out of your reach. Regards, Richard

Rhome is working on a new design of shoulder holster for my EAA Witness, if it works as well as we think it should be a nice one.
