I used to carry my keys in my right front pocket and wallet in my left front pocket. Never carried my wallet in my back pocket because I felt it was easier for a thief to steal back there. When I started to carry, I carry my S & W 642 in my right front pocket in a Mika pocket holster. My dilemma then was where to now carry my keys and wallet. My compromise is to carry my keys in my left front pocket and my wallet in my left back pocket. It did take a bit of getting used to, but it now seems quite natural.

take it from the local friendly chiropractor...money clips are great and get that wallet out of your back pocket all together. They have them with a pouch to hold credit cards, ID's, CCW license, and this floppy magnetic thing on the side...OH yeah to hold receipts....LOL

It's true. It's amazing how much of a difference having a front pocket wallet is on your body. I noticed on longer trips in a vehicle or motorcycle how much of a pain regular wallets were. Ever since I've changed to a front pocket wallet I will never go back. It's a great investment. I have been using a slightly older "model" of what is pictured below. It turns out fossil makes very good wallets!

I used to carry money clip with the little pouch like the Fossil above. Now I carry a wallet with my fire badge in it in LF pocket. BUT, am thinking of going back to money clip and a seperate badge holder. Have never carried a wallet in back pocket - too much money, my wallet was always too thick! HA Maybe it was just a skinny a@#.

I have carried my cash in a money clip for the past 25 years or so. I changed to carrying my wallet in my left pocket about 1962. I changed schools and the pants I wore to school had a button on the left rear pocket and none on the right rear. I figured that if the pants manufacturers thought most people carried their wallets in their left pocket I would carry it there. A few weeks and it was natural. A couple of years ago I started carrying a wallet that doesn't even have a place to put cash. I don't carry cash in it so why have the extra thickness? Works for me.

I have just ordered a leather IWB and plan to kep it in the center of my back. I shoot right handed but ordered a left hand holster so can draw with my right hand.

Check with your tailor or haberdasher, but the original place for the wallet was the left rear pocket, hence the button. I am surprised none of you right rear wallet carriers were ever told this. Especially on dress pant to prevent theft.
