Check with your tailor or haberdasher, but the original place for the wallet was the left rear pocket, hence the button. I am surprised none of you right rear wallet carriers were ever told this. Especially on dress pant to prevent theft.

I carry IWB or OWB at 5, with my give-up wad of 1s wrapped with a $20 and an expired credit card, so I have options, my real mini wallet is left front with a knife, right front BUG.

My wallet is an antique cigarette case in my right front pocket, about as far away from the gun as possible (8 o'clock; I shoot lefty). It has nothing to do with carrying, I just got tired of sitting on a wallet. It's nice and small -- 3.75"x2.75"x5/8". I have a lot of cards and rarely use cash, and it holds the cards better than a money clip would (little spring-loaded arms keep them from falling out when opened), but without the bulk of a traditional wallet.
Picture of it attached, with .45 Auto round for size reference. |
