Lint--where Does It Come From ?

I carry a P3AT in my front right pocket(no holster). When I put on clean pants I turn the pocket inside out and clean it out as good as I can, absolutely no lint, nothing in pocket, then in goes my edc gun, with in 2 or 3 days there is lint in barrel.I pull the mag and round in chamber and procede to blow it out. Now,someone tell me where the new lint comes from,it a mystery to me. sj

it comes from your pants while you might clean out the big chunks the small stuff is always there and starts pulling together and then big spot o lint

any time you have 2 fibers rubbing together you get lint

The Lint Gods send it down to Earth.

Turn yer pocket inside out and roll an adhesive lint roller over the pocket material. That helps some.

Mine stopped a few years back. Don't know why. (I know: more info than you needed. )

The pocket, on the other hand, is a lint factory. KelTec P3AT here, as well. It gets a good weekly scrubbing, to keep the dust bunnies at bay.

I'd rather carry it loose so I can put my hands in my pockets and look relaxed but have my hand on it ready to go if needed, also can still carry change there. sj
