Sig Tactical jacket

While no system is perfect for everyone in every situation, I feel comfortable keeping my pistol in the built-in holster of my Sig-Tactical jacket when driving. When arriving at my destination, I carefully transfer to a strong-side pancake rig (or IWB), which is then covered by the jacket.
The jacket is a good place to keep a back-up also, on the weak-hand side. JMHO

Hello, first post here....

I agree no one carry mode is perfect all the time. I mostly carry my Kimber Ultra CDP 2 in a IWB holster during the spring, fall and winter months. I bought the Sig jacket to give me another option to be able to take off my jacket when I want to and not have my firearm exposed. The Kimber's butt kinda prints in the upper hoslters on each side but not that much. While driving I also leave it up there but transfer it to the lower part of the jacket when walking about. It is a quality made jacket and I'll probably even wear it when I'm not carrying.

Anaconda,
Yep, the jacket is very comfortable and my wife complimented me on how nice it looks (I have the black one), so it must be 'in fashion' - LOL.
Gotta' keep the ladies happy.

Thanks for the welcome rstickle!

Harold, I had ordered the black one but received the chocolate instead and actually like it better. They do look nice, like a dressy Carehartt jacket.

Myusername, no elastic on the bottom of the jacket. It has 2 snaps to adjust the fit on each side. It also has snaps for the wrist area too. The jacket is cut kinda big also. I wear a size large but got the medium and it fits great.

Sig Jacket

What is the weight of this jacket? I'm in the Southeast & would prefer something that's fairly light weight.

How would those of you who own them best describe the weight?

Thanks

I would not describe it as light weight, rather it's a pretty heavy and warm jacket. Above 45 degrees it's too warm for me.

Thanks. I may order one, I need to check the return policy. As I become wider than I am tall I now need my jackets to be larger at the bottom.
