OWB 1911 Commander holster
I am in the need for an OWB holster for a 4.25" 1911. I prefer leather, but kydex may do. I would like to get something fairly quick. Hopefully less than 1 month. Does anyone know of any or could direct me to some? I just want something wore strong-side and that it pulls the grip in nicely. Any ideas?

I have a Galco 'Concealed'. it is an open top style that for me works well.
http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterG3.asp...=240&GunID=183 They should have it in stock, since they aren't a custom maker. The customer maker's out there make better products, but you may have a long, long wait.

For good leather that can be had under a month, Kramer Belt Scabbard. I have two that work great.

Mernickle PS6 System, I've heard a lot of good things and I'm about to place an order with them.

+1 for Kramer belt scabbard
I would agree with Slimjim above on the Kramer belt scabbard. I use one in horsehide for OWB carry of a Kimber Pro model, similar to the Colt Commander.

I don't know who makes the Wilson holsters but I really like them as well. Should check them out! I picked up an Adjuster paddle/belt option holster in shark for training and it is well done. I have also had another holster from Wilson that I traded a Defatti for that I can't remember the name of at the moment, but it was a nice holster also.
