Galco, favorite iwb holster?

So I'm still looking for a holster to order for my sig p229R. I'm thinking about ordering either a scout, clip on (http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterG3.asp...=932&GunID=280) or a summer comfort(http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterG3.asp...2456&GunID=280)
But it says the summer comfort might not be available till march.

Theres also this DeSantis cheapie I'm thinking about, but I dont know if I like the mag pouch in the wasteband. http://www.desantisholster.com/n87.html

If anyone has experience with any of these, I'd appreciate some feedback!

Well, you are going to get the normal responses of "you get what you pay for", and look into a custom holster. I have a Galco IWB (not a Scout) for my S&W Sigma, and its ok. Not the most comfortable, but it does its job. It is not my normal carry right though, in fact I almost never carry the Sigma. I do have a Crossbreed Adjustable Super-tuck holster for my 1911, which is what I use ever day.

If it you don't need all leather and can stand the wait (mine took just about 10 weeks), I would look into them, they are pretty reasonably priced, and I do not have a single complaint about mine.

I use the Summer Comfort for my 1911 almost daily. Actually the only time I don't use it is when my wife is carrying her 1911. (The Springfield kydex Yaqui slide holster I have doesn't fit her 1911 very well.) My only complaint is that it doesn't come in black.

I have several IWB holsters for my Kimber Compact SS II, (officers frame, 4" barrel) three of them are custom and the last is a Galco Skyops. The Skyops is the thinnest, most comfortable and conceals the best. However, it is nearly impossible to re-holster after a draw without dropping yer drawers. The others are merely very difficult to re-holster, usually needing the belt to be loosened and a lot of care taken during re-holstering.
The Skyops gets used the most by far due to its superior concealability and comfort. My logic is that If I ever must use the pistol in anger, re-holstering will be the least of my worries.

I use the Royal Guard for my 1911 (full size) and I like it, I do have to wiggle it once (the gun) to reholster...

NP, I have had a couple of the Galco holster. They were ok, but IMHO, they were not the quality of the custom holster. The price was about the same also. Here is a couple pics of what I recieved .

I will be getting a Cochise Defender for my Glock G27 as soon as I can save the $$!! Give Kevin at K&D Holsters a call or email him. He will make you exactly what you are looking for.
Please see my review of my holster.

If you ever go to the Tanner gun show there is a woman there that sells nothing but holsters. For my Para Ord I picked up a Ross leather IWB with a strap (ie, no clip) for $35. Fits snug as a bug, feels secure and comfortable. Then on another trip she had the same holster for my Glock 26 for the same price, I was thrilled. Link below (not familiar with the site, just for pics):

Anyway, if your going to the show it would be worth a try. I believe she travels around with it.
