Reviewing hoffner and highnoon
First of all I'm new here and to CCW. I've been sitting back reading the posts and waiting for my permit. Well, I'm still waiting but I figured I would give my opinion on these two holsters.
First of all I bought a "hoffner minimal IWB". Not to take anything away from hoffner because it's a really well made holster. It fits the pistol very good, it's just a little too thick for CCW. It's very uncomfortable and prints really bad even without a pistol in it. After this purchase I can say I'm not a big fan of kydex. That was a 65 dollar lesson learned..... 100_1493.JPG 100_1495.JPG When the hoffner arrived and I found out I didn't like it I immediately ordered a "Highnoon Bare Asset". It arrived three days later and I have to say that I'm very pleased with it. It doesn't print at all at 3 o'clock and it's very comfortable. I can't tell a difference with or without the holster. Very good off the shelf holster and well worth the $31.00 with shipping. 100_1515.jpg 100_1516.jpg For future purchases I think I'll stick with leather for comfort. My Bare Assets is my primary IWB holster for my S&W 6946. I may need to get one for my 40VE now.
Now if you want a tuckable you can get a Split Decision (same as Bare Assets). I use one for my Kel-tec P11. ![]()

I'm really happy with it. I've only shot about 500 rounds through it but so far no problems. The trigger pull loosened up a little but I like the stiffer trigger with a DAO. I was a little worried after the bad reviews on the earlier models but they've really made a great gun this time.

I'm anxiously waiting for my bare asset to get here. I keep reading good things about them.

I love my Highnoon, too! I have the Split Decision, and it's been a great little holster so far.
