Pics: Pocket Concealment Systems pocket holster for my MK9
Posted this last week but it got lost in the crash so I thought I'd repost.
Was using a DeSantis Nemesis while waiting for my PCS Harpoon. Due to the material The Nemesis does form around the gun making it print more but it is a great holster to use. The Harpoon's build quality is top notch... on par with my HBE holsters. Does a better job with printing over the Nemesis and love the ability to start the draw using my thumb on the leather making extraction very smooth. Definitely would recommend PCS. http://pcsholsters.com/main.html ![]() ![]() A pic of my PCS next to my HBE holster I also received recently. ![]() ![]() Last edited by don527; February 5th, 2007 at 04:11 PM.. |

Looks great, how does it carry?
Mom is thinking it may be time for a new carry piece It has been past time for WAY TOO LONG. I am hoping that with a new carry piece she will carry more often. Oh well her call, I can only make sure i am carrying I cant force her.

I was originally looking more for a subcompact for better IWB carry like a G26, not specifically a pocket gun like a Seecamp or Roughbaugh, but ended up with the Kahr. The weight of the Kahr makes shooting this gun as soft if not softer than shooting a G26 so there is advantages to the weight. I wear a good belt and after a while I forget about it the weight. I had good mobillity with the P239 IWB but with the Kahr in pocket, I have great mobility. I have a 4yo daughter and now I can zig zag, bend, dive; go everywhere she goes without hesitation. And I don't even want my 4yo daughter to know I'm carrying and pocket carry hides it completely where IWB there is a chance she'll notice. It hides well in relax fitted jeans or slacks with the holster but it will print at times... looks like something blocky like a wallet or pda which I sometimes carried in pocket so I'm ok with that. I really love pocket carry at this point and with good caliber options available will probably be my method of carry for a while. I may do a PM9 in the future if I want to lighten it up or maybe a Roughbaugh if I want to go smaller and lighter at a premium price and probably more recoil. Thanks for the replies. That's what happened to me... I carried the P239 often but not all the time. I felt it inconvenient to wear all the time due to it's size. With the Kahr I just put it in my pocket and go... all the time.

I was thinking a Kahr for her. We go to church in a ROUGH area, where there have been numerous shootings and meth lab raids, and she is often there at night. Mom recently had rocks thrown at her truck as she was leaving after youth group and when our pastor asked if she was carrying (He does) she got an ear beating when she said no. she finds her old Charter arms J frame (ca. 1970) too difficult to conceal.

My 640 weighs 23oz unloaded and its no problem whatsoever to pocket carry. So I figure the MK9 wouldn't be a problem either. Love the holster!
