My belly bag works just fine for me. Used it today to haul around my G27/ Lots BG's lurking around C/FL lately, wanted something more than my Keltec.

I just got a Blackhack Serpa for my Glock 27 and I love it. It comes with a paddle and belt replacement attachment

Survival Sheath

+1 for the survival sheath chest rig. I've got one for my MK 40 that works great for running. I've yet to use it on my bike, because the jerseys tend to be too tight. I usually stick my p32 in the right jersey pocket and go from there.

I use the same thing for my G23. The retension lock keeps it from jumping out as I jog.

Why would a fanny pack be out of the question? You do know that they were made to be worn by bicycle riders with the bag on the backside (hence the name)? Trust me it will be much less obvious you are carrying anything out of the ordinary using a fanny pack while riding a bicycle.

+1 for the fanny pack. I hike and ride a bike a lot as well as doing hard outdoor work, moving logs etc. The best "holster" for me has been the fanny pack. I can carry up to a compact Glock 19 with no problem. The advantages are: it doesn't get in the way but the gun is available. It doesn't look funny or out of place on the trail. I don't sweat on it. I would not consider off the body carry and it's comfortable.

The 'Survival Sheath' is an intersting looking application.
But I'm having a problem with understanding how one would wear this in civilian clothes and be effective in deploying it at all muchless quickly.
Can someone or the OP please help me out here or maybe show pics of how they themselves wear it under street clothing.

Thanks,

- Janq

Survival sheath

I use mine under a closed front garment, usually a sweatshirt. Something that buttons or has a deep chest zipper can be a problem.

So how do you get to the sidearm for removal & reholstering?
Do you reach with the off hand to lift your shirt?

I suppose with shirts that button one would have to leave the bottom two or three unbuttoned (?) to allow pull up and reach action, though that would work for the butt down position.
How one is supposed to use the butt up position carry remains to be a mystery.
