Have it down to 2.

This will be my first time carrying. I will be carrying a 9mm Taurus 24/7 DAO (assuming I can find one.)
http://www.taurususa.com/products/pr...ategory=Pistol
I will be wearing IWB at 3:30 (strong side).

I have my holster choices down to 2 (I think.)

Either:
FIST #K9-Kydex IWB Rounded front Interchangeable "THIN" with "E"-Kydex split J-Hook
http://www.fist-inc.com/holsters/k1/K9.htm

Or

Comp-Tac "The Infidel" with Ghurka strut.
http://www.comp-tac.com

I am really leaning towards the Comp-Tec as there are so many options for it.

My requirements are:
Must be Kydex, IWB, body shield not necessary, opening must stay open with gun out.

Are there any other holster opinions?

I carry every day in a Comp-Tac C-T.A.C. I've also got several mag carriers and a settable cant OWB holster from them. They make great gear and have great customer service. Go with the Comp-Tac, you won't regret it.

I voted other because I prefer leather over plastic, but if Kydex you must, I would go with the C-Tac. The single clip one will probably move around on you. Neither of them look like something I'd want inside my waist band for any length of time, though I have no firsthand experience with them.

I just got the infidel with the ghurka strut for my G30 it is a great little kydex holster. Great retention, fast, does a good job of dist. weight of the gun. It also does not move. I would def. go comp tac.

The Infidel is a great holster, and got my vote. But, leather is so much more comfortable to me, especially IWB that I had to at least mention that my personal choice is UBG Holsters.

I'd go with the comp-tac.. for the same reasons others have offered

Voted for the Comp-Tac, although my Infidel does not have the Ghurka set-up. I am reasonably satisfied with it. I have a MaxCon VI on order from Gary, and am REALLY looking forward to getting it. The Comp-Tac handles well, for non-leather.

Of the 2, the Fist looks like it would imprint less on my hide. I'm 6'1 and 190 and not alot of cushion there. The harder kydex IWB leave a definite impression on me. I have a Blade Tech IWB with J hooks. A lot of people I know swore by that thing, I swore at it. After much personal customizing...that means a belt sander, I made it useful. I smoothed the high spots and ridges and removed the rear hook. It works well on hot, humid days when I have to IWB carry. I have 2 Davis Security IWBs that I use alot more. I really have to try a better IWB holster like Gary Brommeland's or similar type.
