Took the plunge today, Happy Birthday to me!
With the wife's green light, I ordered a Cochise Defender IWB holster for my Ruger SP101 today. A belated birthday present. I'll be like a kid waiting for Christmas the next eight weeks.
I am hopeful that it will be a comfortable holster for my body size/shape (short and round). If not, I'll exchange it for the Laredo Defender OWB holster. I had considered the Tucker Texas Heritage, but the price on the K&D made it more appealing to my pocket book. I'll post again after I receive the holster and post my opinions on this product. Best regards! |

I would not start holding your breath at 8 weeks. My current wait is 11 weeks. Kevin hold me in my last PM he is expecting to ship my Laredo Defender on Monday, and if it gets here by Thursday it will be 12 weeks.
I am looking forward to trying her out.

Thank you K-man.... I'm looking forward to trying it out... I'm sure it will be worth the wait. I've read SO MANY GREAT comments about your holsters.

I must say I have been through many holsters....but my Laredo Defenders are my favorite all time holsters. I have 1 for my Kahr PM9 and one for my Rhorbaugh R9. They are the best holsters I have ever owned.....and I have tried a few 100+ dollar holsters. !!!!!!

Being a newbie here I am amused how many of us (present company most included) have to get the "boss's" greenlight before handgun and handgun accessory purchases. If mama ain't happy...

I for one don't have to ask for permission
...I just have to sneak them in and hide them from her .After I have them for a while, then I let her see them in a real non-chalont way so as to not stir up any suspicion. |
