Bout to get a new holster/mag holder/belt....
But i need your help. I know the belt and mag holder i am ordering from K&D but the holster i am kinda unsure about... its IWB and not sure if i should go with the Cochise defender or the Dakota... inform me please.... i am open to suggestions on both, i love the looks of both but what about functionality...

Call up Kevin. He'll give you the scoop.
I just went through a discussion with Kevin and ordered a cochise defender w/ sweat guard and suede backing (have to talk to him about that). I already have a cochise defender w/ sweat guard for my Beretta PX4. Cochise Defender: is a little thicker (two pieces of leather - front to back). Can reholster easier (due to additional piece of leather) and can reverse the clips to carry OWB (I've never done this). Dakota - thinner profile. Newer design. But, call Kevin and get the scoop directly from him. |

Kevin will take the time to talk to you about your needs and his products. I believe he wants you to be happy with his purchase as you want to be happy with your purchase.
Me, I wanted the cochise because it is my first foray into leather for my glocks. I want the re-inforced opening on the holster and the minimal extra thickness doesn't add much in my opinion. When I originally called him, it was to request the cochise w/ suede liner. |

My experience with K&D has just been outstanding
I would not hesitate to buy from him again. Both product and customer service were terrific![]()

I'm thinking about picking up a Dakota for my XD45. One of these days. I still owe Gary some money for my mag holster and MCVI, so to avoid broken kneecaps, I need to make some allowances.
