I know absolutely nothing about leather work, but I've got an idea that might just work out even better for you. Rather than use a ziplock, invest in one of those "food savers" that suck the air out of the bags. They really conture around whatever is in the bag.

It does, Tros. I have one, but it is placed away in its box after hunting season. I am just too darn lazy to go dig it out. I used it before when I made a couple of OWB's and it works like a champ.
