My First IWB, handmade
This is my first holster. I hand stitched it. It is made to ride at 4:30 with a 20 degree rake.
It is for the Cougar 40 S&W. I still haven't perfected the finish work, but I am really happy how this turned out. I WILL be making more. Attachment 4004 Double click for a larger picture

I'm impressed.
How did you get the leather to the perfect shape of the gun details? (That seems to be the most difficult part.)

I wet the leather with 110 degree water and used a boning tool (piece of plastic). I placed the pistol in a ziplock plastic bag and formed the leather as it dried over the pistol. I have been working leather for a while, but never a holster. Read a few tricks here on the forum. Learned a lot on the first attempt. I am going to try a revolver next time.

If you keep making your own, then I can't sell you any more. What???
Just kidding. If you want some pointers on the edging, etc. give me a call. There are tricks you'd never think of.
