What's up with Don Hume??

I finally decided on two holsters for my new Sig P232. I called Gunners Alley, nope not in stock, 6 weeks plus, I then proceeded to follow every link on Google and nobody has the holster, yet they all claim to stock a large selection of Holsters. I even went thru Don Hume directly and was told 6+ weeks. Don Hume holsters are reasonably priced and nice quality, I guess this is a good problem for them but not for the consumer. I am looking for a high rise pancake holster with inner flap so gun doesn't touch the skin, this narrows the selection down to very few. Does anybody know of any large companies that stock Hume holsters? Otherwise I will place my order and wait patiently.
Thanks

Probably the gun model

The Sig P232 is not an unknown gun, but it is not as common as some other CCW guns. I would bet that Hume does not sell as many P232 holsters as it does holsters for Glocks, 1911s or XDs. So they probably don't keep as many in inventory, and are just temporarily out of them. You probably have to wait until they complete the next production lot of these.

I have a couple of Hume holsters, and always received them within about 2 weeks from the company or Gunner's Alley.

Holster for P232

I used to have a P232. The holsters I used for it were actually PPKS holsters. I never tried Kydex, but I had a couple of leather holsters that worked great. Maybe this will give you a few more options.

I have the Don Hume P232 holster, I believe I mentioned in a previous thread that I got it from Midway but this isn't the case, I got it from my local gun store.
I am waiting on an order at the same store from Don Hume for another holster.
I assume the P232 is backordered as DH is one of the few places that do a holster for that gun, it's worth the wait as they certainly are great value.

Actually I have had no problem finding holsters for the gun, just very few that meet my requirements as stated above. I agree the P232 is not as popular as a P229 or a Glock 17, so I reckon I will just wait. Not worth the rush and getting something you don't really want. Gun show is in 2 weeks maybe I will find something there.
.02, I think I replied to your other post about Midway not seeling DH holsters, I also checked pistolgear.com and nothing there either.
Thanks Y'all

Sometimes it sucks being born left handed......

6 week! Well, you can always order a Del Fatti and use that while you wait.
