Another noob!

Seems like everybody starts to make holsters
Well, i also gave it a try... Since it's kinda hard to find a nice holster for a P22, i just made my own. I ordered a bunch of stuff at tandyleather.com a couple days ago and got the package yesterday. Alright, time to get busy

Unfortunately i screwed up BIG time! I made the holster to fit both P22 with the short and the long barrel - but stupid me molded it with the short barrel

Oh, and the punch i used for the belt sucked...

Other than that... I think it's not too bad for a first attempt in leathercraft. What do you think? Next weekend i will start with a holster for the Glock

Oh, almost forgot the pictures:

Looks good to me for a first attempt! I see what you mean, the holster was made long enough for the full size, but you molded it for the shorter barrel. Can you re-mold the barrel part?

If it's a stupid question, it's because I know nothing about leather. How are you guys stitching them, BTW?

Looks like a good start. I have made a few holsters wrong handed, see as I am LH. So don't feel bad, everyone has to start somewhere. Looks good.
