It seems that people either hate em or love em.
They do work and they are convenient. You have to be the ultimate judge of whether you like it or not. Be open minded about it. If you like it its money well spent. If not, I'm sure you can get your 9 dollars back on it.

I have one and it doesn't bother me at all. I'm not worried that it will affect the finish on my Kimber. In fact, I don't mind that my carry piece isn't pristine ... I expect it to LOOK like a carry piece; a tool. The day I care more about the finish on my carry weapon than I do about how I carry it, I'll know it's time to hang it up.
But that's just me. Yes, there are other/better holsters out there. The Fobus is functional for all the reasons stated above.

I like the Fobus for wearing around the house or to the range. I have carried it, but that was under my Carhart of heavy leather coat, hard to conceal otherwise becahse of how far it sticks out.

that video is not entirely fair, the newer models have a metal reenforcement tab that prevents it from snapping apart, i agree you cant beat a good leather holster, but if you are like me they are great for slipping on real quick to run a short errand, and for about $20 they sure beat buying a floppy uncle mikes cloth and velcro holster, when you need something cheap while waiting for a nice rig to arrive in the mail or get made, the holster selection around here in the gun shops is poor, |

Galco or Fist...
Both have worked well for me...
I have a Galco paddle holster for my 4" Kimber...everything else is Fist, about 26 - 28 holsters now...I believe is the count! You DO get what you pay for... Why buy a $1,200 gun and a cheap holster? OMO Stay armed...stay safe! ret ![]()

I made the transition from (IWB) to (OWB) and haven't looked back. I don't find it much more difficult to conceal and it's wayyyyyyyy more comfortable to me.

About the 10th time I started to notice from many draws the rivets started to rub the gun.I use Comptac holster noe for IPSC and leather for IDPA.I use thr Fobus double mag carrier with out any probs though,

That video was something to see. I echo most here that leather is better, but you have to go with what you can in some instances. I know others I hang with that look down on others cuz they don't ride Harley's like we do. Personally, you run what you brung. As long as you are in the game, that is all that matters.

I too like leather but I must admit I have a Fobus Paddle that I am using now. I have a new G26 in hand and another 10+ weeks wait on a MaxCon VI so I had to get something. Picked up the Fobus paddle for under $20.00 and I think I will more than get my money out of it while I wait on the new rig. Also I think it will work fine for me when I need to make a quick trip to the store and I don't already have the IWB on or just for carry around my property.
