I like Fobus. I wear one around the house all the time. But for carrying out and about I use an Uncle Mikes Kydex paddle holster. Much more substantial and the two piece paddle (one part goes inside the pants, then another part with the belt grabbing hooks goes on the outside of the belt/pants with the hooks facing in) really, really holds onto your belt. Also, it is not cheaply riveted together but uses screws and the holsters cant is adjustable. The retention of the gun is adjustable as well . It does stick out a bit further than the Fobus so it isn't quite as concealable but it really holds the gun tightly.

I would like a leather holster but, I have had such good results with this one and a couple of others that I just don't see the need to order a leather holster at this time.

Also I think it will work fine for me when I need to make a quick trip to the store and I don't already have the IWB on or just for carry around my property.
With that said the other day I must now add to the comment. I kind of got hung up getting into the truck and snapped a rivet on the holster. Its no longer with me and I am not looking for another.

If it fails, Oh Well, i only spent 9 bucks on it.
What if it fails when you need it? Is your life worth more than 9 bucks?

I can really only add this: My agency forbids its Agents to use Fobus holsters.
