my new holster for stoeger cougar

finally after 2 months, i got my holster from Blade-tech (thanks for the reference Srfl). they were the only ones who really obliged me in the injection molding. not only because it's a stoeger cougar but because it was left handed as well. now as i hope the pics not only show... but - show up, i wasn't totally happy with the paddle as i tried others and thought the paddle had too much space between it and the holster, also rode too high. soooo, i got creative and dug out a drill and a screw driver. made new holes and used my new awesome holster with a Fobus paddle that i had and really liked. ...WA lah... the first pics were the original and the last ones were my... Frankenstein. I'm happy with the results and thought I'd share this. especially with other cougar owners.

thanks guys (i took those pics with a cell phone but they seemed to work out). today was the first day i carried it with the new holster and it was perfect. it's a stocky gun, in a way, but now it's pinned nice and snug up against me. probably even good enough for summer carry... not that it would deter me from shopping... just in case.

Hi All,

I am new here and also looking for a molded holster for a new Stoeger Cougar 9mm from Turkey.

I don't know why but I can not see thumbnails and even larger images. I tried different browsers but same.

I think this is the only molded holster in the market for Stoeger Cougar and the one you bought:

http://www.blade-tech.com/Paddle-Holster-pr-876.html

But I can only see Beretta Cougar 8000/8040 on the list. Is this for Stoeger Cougar ?

And DownRange, I will be glad if your send me photos of your holster by e-mail. I just sent you a PM.

By the way, I am from Turkey.

Best,

I also use an blade-tech holster for my cougar. It's a great holster. I just wish it had an extra belt catch on the paddle to keep it from pivoting front to back.
Also the holster for the 8000/8040 will fit the stoeger as well as a mini cougar, cougar L and even the 8045 cougar.
