I've used a Galco Contour belt for dress wear and a Galco training belt as well as belts from Rafter S Gunleather. All have served me well for 3 years (newest) up to 7 years.

Love my Milt Sparks belt. Don't like my Beltman belt.

I can vouch for that.........I got a sharkskin belt I wear every day and it's easily the best belt I've ever owned. It might even outlast me!!

Amazingly enough, these work very well and are only $25.

Carhartt web belts

They are made with layer of very stiff Cordura webbing over a leather layer. There is enough spacing between the buckle holes to stick one in between when one hole is too loose and the next is too tight.

I ordered a Wilderness Instructor Belt yesterday to give that a whirl.

I'm another that really thinks the Beltman is the way to go. I own 3, 2 x 1.25" dress belts, and 1x 1.5" dress belt and I have an order in for 2 additional 1.5" belts.

Based on the belt, I wear them with jeans, khakis or suits.

I use a belt from kdholsters. Had it for six months or so and its great. Its the same price as a nice dress belt. When I got the belt I found out the 15lbs I had gained made the belt very snug on the last notch. So I shot him an email and he offered to exchange it for a larger size. I had it in a week. Now I've gotten in much better shape and lost 20lbs, so I wish I had the original one. But I only need to have an extra notch punched.

I wear the tan one, but that's the one that goes with the uniform.

I just went to Tandy leather today and they had their unfinished double thickness 1.5" belts on sale for $12. I picked up a heavy duty buckle to put on it and all I did was dye it black and drill the holes and it is now ready to go.

Rafter S is what I prefer. I have belts from other makers (Rosen/Sparks/Beltman) but I tend to grab the Rafter belt 90% of the time. I really like Beltman's horsehide for dressier attire.
