I would look at http://kdholsters.com/ . Kevin makes some very high quality leather holsters for a great price. He is very good to deal with and will make you pretty much anything you want. I should be only a couple of weeks away from getting my Cochise Defender for my M&P .40c from him. I can hardly wait!!

I use a UBG Canute for my XD9 Service. IWB is the most comfortable for me.

I just got a CrossBreed supertuck yesterday. It feels great wearing it so far around the house, but I haven't worn it "out and abouting" just yet. So far I can barely tell I'm wearing it with my XD-9 3" subcompact.

XD9 Service Holster

I use two Comp-Tac holsters. I carry both XDs in a C-TAC. I bought it to carry my service model XD. One year later I bought an XD9sc and now carry that pistol in the C-TAC. Great holster carries both guns very comfortably. The XD9sc is a little wider and requires loosening the holster to fit sung. This is the holster not the slide. The second holster is a paddle that is used for range shooting. It will CCW if I am wearing a jacket or a coat.

tideluxe,
i carry a pt140 (similar) in both a don hume JIT slide, (about 25.00)
or a Desantis thumb break mini slide (about 65.00).....the Desantis is more secure by design, but the JIT is a lightweight well crafted piece...both are very high quality holsters...the don hume model was purchased at a well stocked gun store, the desantis purchased over the web....i have 3 desantis holsters and LOVE the quality and durability of them....and there webstore shopping has been FLAWLESS

Carry my XD9SC in a #43 IWB/OWB clip and belt combo holster (see pic)

The holster allows for either IWB or OWB carry and does either mode quite well. Of course, a good belt is necessary. Fits my XD like a glove.

i have a tucker texas heritage for my XD 9 SC. my XD 40 service fits beautifully in it also but i prefer to keep the leather fitted to the SC but it'd make a beauth of a holster for either.
