Kydex Holster

I have a bias against IWB carry because I find it to be very uncomforable without going out and buying new shorts and pants two inches bigger then what I normally wear, and then the pants and shorts are way too baggy.

I live in Florida and pocket carry, both my S&W 642 and Walther P99c in Mika pocket holsters, but would like to find a IWB holster thin enough so that I could wear it, reasonably comfortably, when pocket carry of the P99c is not feasible. I have been perusing the different web sites of holster makers and came across a Fist model #K4, described as a very thin Kydex holster with a J hook, which can be made for my Walther P99c, and is also tuckable.

Does anyone have any experience with this holster?

Thanks.

Ron

Have you tried Mika's waistband holsters? I checked out the website and saw them..they look good.

Not to get off topic, but what do you think of the p99c in the pocket holster? Do you find it too big? I ask because I'm thinking of picking one up for carry.

Thanks.

No, I have not tried Mika's waistband holsters because I want one that is tuckable, and I don't believe his are tuckable.

I find the P99c perfectly comfortable in cargo type shorts and pants in the Mika pocket holster. It also works well in regular Docker pants.

I also pocket carry a S&W 642 J frame revolver in a Mika pocket holster, and admittedly it is less bulky then the P99c, but not by much.

Try a CrossBreed Adjustable Supertuck the most comfortable IWB I have ever had and completely adjustable for hight and cant.
These are a cross between leather and kydex the best on the market.
