"camoflaged" Magg Carrier

Hey Folks

I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to put my hands on a Magazine carrier for my XD 12rd .40s&w, that will pass the glance test and not be recognized. I am thinking leather folding knife carrier would do the trick. I would have to have the snap over type of closure.

Do any know or have any sugestions.

It would be carried inverted so that when the snap is loosened the mag would "fall" out.

I have never gotten bad info here, I expect the trend to continue.

Thanks in advance

MikeV

Go to www.kytac.com and check out the "Pocket Pouch"

If discret magazine carry was something of an issue to me - THAT'S the one I would choose!

Mike,
Check MidwayUSA. A quick search on "Magazine Pouch" brought up over 400 hits. I'm betting you can find one that will suit your needs.

This wont help you exactly but what I use (when carrying my Bersa .380) is a cell phone case. It was for a 'candy bar" style phone and has a magnetic cover to keep the phone in. I wear it upside down so when I open the flap the mag drops into my hand. Very easy and everyone just sees a phone.....

I bought a cheap multitool copy of the Leatherman & use the pouch it came in for my extra mag.

WalMart Sporting goods section has a pouch thingie that can hold a flashlight, multitool and might work for you.

Also, Check the camera section for small camera cases - one might work for what you need.

Let us know when\what you come up with...
