looks very nice for first time efforts to say the least. You can only get better from here. Thanks for showing them and I'm sure you'll have a customer base in no time.

See!! I told ya! You'll be booked from now through ? in no time. But again, beautiful work. Those are the best first efforts I've seen. Great job all around.

Now look what you've done Antgriff. You've created a monster and everyone wants a piece of it.........not a bad thing by the way.

The holsters look great. If you ever decide to make one for the PT-145, that has the straps fore & aft the gun, and you need a testbed for that model.....pm me. I have tried holsters with the straps positioned the way you have them and it does not work for me. Heres what I am looking for.....for my PT-145 of course!!

I would like to thank everyone for their comments, good and bad. I believe one can only learn if their told what they are doing wrong and right. So thank you.

I have been very surprised by the overwhelming reaction to my efforts. I just made these holsters so I would have something I would be proud to carry, and I would not go broke owning.

This challenge to make a CTAC in leather and to making my 1911 style as a tuckable type are very interesting. I have been thinking of ways to do this since it was first mentioned to me. I am very tempted to make one just to see if I would like how it came out. I am surprised that no one is making one.

Unfortunately, the only pistols I have right now are my Beretta 92/96 combo, Kimber 4" 1911 SLE Series I, my new PT145 (3gen), and my wife's Bersa 380. I may be able to borrow a Glock from one of my cop friends but I am not sure. I could probably make holsters for 3" and 5" 1911 but I would need information from the user. So any holsters that I may make have to be based around these. Unless someone can tell me where I can get some pistol forms I could use for molding.

I may be opening a can of worms that I may regret, but I believe I will make a few holsters.

I have no idea what I might even charge or how many I may make. So if you are interested please PM me and I will get back to you. Please note I only have templates for the holsters you see, so in order for me to make another type I will need to create a template. And that will take some time for me to figure what would work best.

Please note that I consider myself a beginner holster maker, but I will not sell anything I would not be happy with using myself.

Take a look at www.blueguns.com. You'll need a resale tax certificate to order, but if you have one, call and talk to John Ring. They've got a pretty good collection of moldable guns. You can also get aluminum versions from Duncan Customs. Their website is http://duncansoutdoor.com/customs.htm.

This is how it starts! Trust me I know, I have 8 holsters drying as we speak. Nice job on the holsters.

Here is another place that is fast for molds.

This is another good site.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

I have been working on making a CTAC style leather holster, but I had some questions. I was curious what about this holster makes it so desired? Is it that the website shows you can place 5 different Glocks in the same holster? Is it the relief cut that does not surround the trigger guard? Or just the the adjustability of the holster position with different loops?

I am curious if my design is what others are looking for.
I should have it done in a couple days and I will place it on here when I get done.

Thanks,
Antgriff

Beautiful, EXCELLENT work. Sure wish I had that talent, I would not be waiting months and months for holsters. I'd be interested in your C Tac model for a Glock, I've got 4 of them and the two holsters I've ordered, I'm still waiting on and will most likely be waiting on some more.
