We are running a tad behind on our normal turnaround times. This was/is due to some medical issues going on.

I have 2 of his cochise defenders, they are excellent!! The wait for it is worth every minute. I wear one of these holsters at least 14 hours a day and until I get ready for shower, I forget that it is on. They are very comfortable holsters. You will like it.

khimwoon, I just received my second holster from K&D Holsters just yesterday. It just so happens that it is the Cochise Defender. IMHO, once you get one holster from K&D Holsters, it will be hard to go anywhere else. Kevin is a true artist who uses leather. This new holster is superb quality. No breaking it in to fit my gun. It fits like a glove, perfect!! You will not be sorry with a holster from K&D Holsters.

Ron

Guys, any chance of seeing one of these rigs being worn? I'm considering ordering one for my SP101. Kevin is making an Eagle Defender for my SP101 right now but I want to buy an IWB too.

I'll say this, I've never seen better customer service than what Kevin gives. I bough the Laredo Defender from him with Shark Skin and when it came in, I decided I didn't like the snap loops after all. Don't get me wrong, he made the holster PERFECT, I just changed my mind and asked them if they'd exchange if for the Eagle Defender, same holster but with belt slots. He didn't hesitate, simply said to send the first one back and he'd be happy to make the other! I was floored and he has a customer for life!

I hate buying holsters over the internet when you can't see them or try them in person. It's an expensive risk but there's little choice, however, if you're reasonable and deal with a guy like Kevin the risk is reduced.

For example, I bought a horsehide belt scabbard from Kramer leather for $118. There was nothing wrong with the holster but because it's horsehide they pre-mold the belt slides into a very open configuration. Instead of slots they're more like ovals. On me the holster just doesn't hold the gun as close as I'm used to with other pancake OWB holsters. I talked with them and they were willing to look at the holster or to try and "fix" it, but that's just it, it wasn't really wrong but build as they designed it. It's just that you really don't know how it'll fit until you try it.

Well their policy is that they don't take them back unless their somehow faulty and I can't blame them a bit for that! Especially when a lot of folks take advantage of people. They were nice but it wasn't fair to send it back when I know it's not a bad holster, it just doesn't fit me the way I'd like and that's an expensive $118 lesson.

So from now on, I intend on working with guys like K&D who will simply satisfy their customer. It's a good policy because I'll definitely be ordering more.

So if you have pics of this one being worn, I'd love to see it. I think it would be a good choice for IWB carry of an SP101.

God Bless and thanks Kevin if you read this!

That looks good! I think this might be what I need for my Ruger. I've got a Max Con V on order for a Kahr P9 and can't wait to see how that works but I'm worried about getting the right cant. Seems most make it 15% but that won't work for me. With the clips, you ought to be able to set your own!

Thanks for the pics
God Bless

I've got a cochise defender for my para. Great holster and workmanship.
I have a backpocket holster from Kevin also.
