Kevin makes great stuff and seems to be a really good guy. But what do you expect from an retired Navy man? lol

Do you guys wear them with the clip in the position shown in the pics? I've tried my Tucker set that way and the points of the bottom of the clips made it really awkward to sit down. I've been thinking about cutting the bottoms off and trying again.

I know a couple guys who have modified their clips like that. Mine have one more hole drilled higher and then dremeled below the last hole I would use. Then again, I have 2 pair of clips. One long and one shortened. That way I can wear it tuckable or extremely canted.

I too am eagerly awaiting my cochise defender--customized! It started out as an order for a holster for an HK USPf .40, but I changed it to a G27. One of the customizations is in the area of the forward flap--creating more of a cutout to allow room for my still-fat thighs to not push up on the front of the holster while sitting. I'm sure I'll be trimming the bottom off of the forward clip as well. Dealing with Kevin has been great, and I can't wait to get the holster. Should be soon I think...

ront,
I'm a little off, but who made the belt? I like that 3-rows of stitching and I might try that myself. |

BruceGibson, the belt is just a Carhartt belt. I need to get a stiffer belt someday.
